Just driving along looking for photos.... and the road just keeps going

Early morning ... right place, right time capturing fog surrounding El Capiton.

Keresan speaking refugees from Santo Domingo, Acoma, Cochiti and other pueblos founded Laguna after the "Pueblo Revolt" of 1680, the Spanish reconquest of 1692. Named by the Spanish for marshy lake to the west, the pueblo is still occupies its original hille top site today.

1998 the remains of the last two four mastered schooners that were ever built in the US. They had been rotting away since 1932 the Wiscasset Schooner Society had the two removed for salvage. Both schooners had a colorful events in history. Both were built in 1917 Luther Little by Read Bror. Co. of Somerset MA, the Hesper was built by Crownishild of South Someset MA.

Found this abandon leather chair, that looked like it had been there for sometime. I first took photos of it in 1985, back in 1986 and the last time I went to photograph it, it had been removed 1987.

Road trip to Alaska, on this trip the tought was to get photos of the Valdez Oil Spill, of the animals that were effective by it. To provoke awareness on the Monterey Peninsula to stop the oil companies from building oil dereks in the Montereey Bay. Problem was that Exxon had paid everyone off around Alaska, so no one would take their boat out, there were no planes, Helicopters just no way to get close to the oil spill. So I turned it into a months road trip around Alaska.
